The community of the Mukachevo Saint Stephan Lyceum was enriched with 21 enthusiastic students in September 2025. The freshman camp, held between August 21 and 24, gave the newly arrived students the opportunity to get to know each other, the class teachers, and to more easily integrate into the life of the lyceum. This time, the location was Vynohradiv, where the students participated in diverse, experience-rich programs.

The spiritual center of the camp was provided by Father Arnold, the lyceum’s school chaplain, who held a spiritual retreat on Christian values. The motto chosen from the Book of Psalms provided guidance for his thoughts: “Abandon evil and choose good, seek peace and follow it!” The common prayers gave deeper content to the programs and showed direction to the young people.

During the joint games, team-building tasks, sports programs and evening conversations, the freshmen quickly got into a relaxed mood. Step by step, their cheerful, open personalities unfolded: 21 active, smiling young people joined the lyceum community.

The camp not only offered entertainment, but also created an excellent opportunity for the students to make new friends, experience the joy of cooperation, and lay the foundation for future shared experiences. The organizers' goal was to help the new students integrate and provide them with a community experience that they could build on throughout the school year.
